Our Vision and Mission
At Home Foundation is a charity registered in England and Wales (Charity number: 1199629). It is about helping immigrants settle down well in the U.K. We'd like to see all people not just feel at home, but be at home here.
We know how important this is because we too are new immigrants.
We all need a home
Everyone should expect the right to live in a secure, safe, warm and comfortable home where they are free from the fears of injustice, discrimination and exploitation, and where everyone has an equal opportunity to learn, to express themselves, to realise full potentials and to contribute to society.
Finding your new home
It is the mission of AHF to provide aid and support to those who have had to leave their home and who are now in the UK. We believe not only in helping immigrants to find a new home and to become part of a new community, but also in preserving and celebrating the memories, heritage and culture of their roots.
Building a better society
Diversity is something we value. We wish to see people find a new home in the UK whilst continuing to be true to their own unique backgrounds and experiences, setting down roots and starting a new and rewarding life in the UK, and actively contributing to a tolerant, free, open and multicultural British society.
Common values
We also believe British residency and citizenship is a privilege, and that with rights also comes responsibilities to upholding the values, freedoms and institutions that underpin British society. These are not just British values, but common and shared values. They are values we hold dear.
