Scholarship Program

At Home Foundation has launched a scholarship program for the 2024-2025 academic year. This program aims to provide some financial support for students from Hong Kong in their pursuit of further education.

Scholarship program 2024

We are pleased to announce that we will award scholarships to 10 students for the 2024/25 academic year.  The amount of each scholarship is £4,000.

We have received a total of 38 applications form Hong Kong migrants who will enroll in an accredited institution for further and higher education studies (including vocational training) in the coming academic year.  Scholarships will be granted to the selected students who have been admitted or will be admitted to these institutions in the UK and who need financial support.

This scholarship program will not be possible without the support of our generous donors, to whom we are forever thankful.   We would also like to thank members of the selection panel* who spent time and effort to carefully review all applications and make the difficult decisions.

We congratulate the awardees and wish them the best in their academic endeavors.  

*The Evaluation Panel comprises of (in alphabetical order):

  • Prof. Johannes Man-mun Chan, Adjunct Professor, Hong Kong University

  • Dr Arisina Chung-yee Ma, Consultant (Geriatrician), NHS;

  • Dr Hans Wing Yu Yeung, historian, columnist and editor of Hong Kong Edu Lancet, ex-manager of HK Examinations and Assessment Authority;

  • Samuel Lai, Chairman of AHF.
