Job placement program successfully concluded

We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of our 2-year job placement program in collaboration with Findagoodboss.uk, effective September 30, 2023.

Commencing in September 2021, this initiative was designed to assist newly arrived young immigrants from Hong Kong, many of whom arrived with limited resources and minimal connections. Our goal was to guide them in finding suitable employment, enabling them to embark on a fulfilling career path. The program has provided free career planning services to nearly 600 HK migrants, more than 100 of them have successfully found jobs and begin their professional journeys.

Witnessing the positive impact this program has had on the lives of numerous individuals has been truly heartening. Many have not only found stable employment but have also cultivated meaningful personal and community relationships. We firmly believe that this program has offered not just job placements, but a fresh start and a brighter future for these young individuals.

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to and supported this program. In particular, our generous donors, dedicated volunteers, and the employers who had given HKers the opportunities.  Their trust and devotion were what made this program possible.

While our cooperation with Fingagoodboss.uk has come to a happy note, At Home Foundation remains committed to supporting new migrants from Hong Kong in their search for career developments.  We will continue refer cases to partnering organizations for suitable aids and arrangements.  Please don't hesitate to reach out if you require further information.

Looking ahead, At Home Foundation will strive to explore more ways to assist and support Hkers in the UK.   Our emergency accommodation and emotion support program as well as our scholarship program will persist, relying on your generous support.
